Our shop minimum is $100. Guns N Needles Tattoo offers a state of the art tattoo experience from consultation through the healing process. The products we use for tattooing are fully disposable and new for each tattoo client. Tatu-Derm aftercare is included in the cost of your tattoo.

The cost of a tattoo depends on many factors such as size, detail, placement, etc. All artists price their own tattoos. Quotes are very difficult to give over the phone or email, a more accurate quote can be given in person via a consultation with an artist.

No, Guns N Needles is an alcohol and drug free establishment. It is illegal in MN to consent to a tattoo under the influence.

Please arrive to your appointment on time, preferably no more than 15 minutes early and no more than 5 minutes late. If you are running late, please call your artist to make sure your appointment is secure. Once your skin is prepped for the tattoo, your artist will place the stencil and you will have the opportunity to confirm the placement of your design.

During the tattoo process you may need to take a break, just let your artist know. Once your tattoo session is completed, your artist will explain your responsibility with aftercare and will apply Tatu-Derm to your new tattoo. If you have any questions regarding your tattoo or aftercare please call the shop or your artist.

At Guns N Needles Tattoo all of our artists use and recommend Tatu-Derm and H2Ocean Aftercare products. Guns N Needles Tattoo bandages all tattoos with Tatu-Derm. Tatu-Derm is a thin film with a hypoallergenic, latex-free, gentle adhesive with good holding power. It is a breathable, waterproof, comfortable, transparent, protective barrier.

Everyone has different threshold for pain, however, most say it was not nearly as bad as they feared. For those who need it, we do offer H2Ocean Nothing (Lidocaine) Soap for $15.00 to purchase for use during your tattoo, which may help some people tolerate the pain more comfortably. This soap is then yours to take home and use throughout your aftercare process.

Covering an old tattoo depends on many factors so it is best to schedule a consultation with an artist to discuss options, including tattooing or possibly laser tattoo removal. GNN refers clients to Renewal Laser Clinic as a trusted partner for professionally and most importantly safe and proper removals.

Due to the natural aging process of the skin, some fading is normal. Sun Exposure is the most common cause for tattoo fading so sun protection of at least SPF 30 is always recommended. Taking care of your tattoo is the best way to prevent premature fading and ensure the longevity of your artwork.
